Gospel Saving Church Beliefs

1) We believe • There is only 1 God, eternally existent in 3 persons. God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, equal in power and glory. And that He created all things both seen and unseen, and that by His power He holds all things together in Christ Jesus. (Genesis 1:1; Deuteronomy 6:4; 1 John 5:7; John 1:1 & 1:14; John 10:30; Hebrews 1:3).

2) We believe • That the entire Holy Bible (both old & new testaments) are Gods Word, and perfect, without flaw or error, and given by His inspiration, and profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, so that the person of God may be complete, and thoroughly equipped for every good work. We believe that Word of God (the Holy Bible alone) should be the only authority that rules the true Christians everyday life. The Word of God is also the ruling authority in all matters for this Church, and is also above any human law or authority. (Nehemiah 8:8; Isaiah 28:13; John 17:17; 2 Timothy 3:16-17; 1 Peter 1:23-25; Acts 4:17-20).

3) We believe • All people are born into sin and by nature evil, and under condemnation, and in need of saving. And that Jesus Christ is drawing all mankind to Himself, and wants to save all mankind from everlasting hellfire. (Romans 3:23; John 12:32; Matthew 25:46).

4) We believe • That God is the one that draws mankind to salvation in Jesus Christ, and that He loves us first and makes the effort to draw us to Christ. We do not choose God, but He chooses us. We also believe that God gave man free choice, and that everyone and anyone has their own (God given) choice to accept the Salvation that God offers in Jesus Christ, or reject the Salvation that God offers in Jesus Christ. We believe that a person gets saved by making a decision to daily turn away from his/her sins (repentance), by believing on the Lord Jesus, and putting their complete faith and trust in the person and finished work of Jesus Christ on the cross, to deliver them from their sins. A real Christian is someone who makes a decision to surrender their lives to Jesus Christ and live for Him daily. (John 1:12; John 15:16; 2 Peter 3:9; 1 Peter 1:5; John 19:30; Genesis 2:16-17; Romans 10:9-10; Mark 8:34; John 3:16).
